Afternoon Series

My artwork will be on display at Tea Bar and Bites, a lovely little cafe and tea house, throughout the month of March, 2016. 

Stray Lines Lead to Stray Places is a series of paintings which explore how our thoughts take a trajectory which informs how we view and interact with the world around us. Sometimes our thoughts are helpful and take us to places of enlightenment and encouragement, while other times they lead to dead-ends, destruction, and despair. I painted these pieces during a time when I as very intentional about recognizing and acknowledging my thoughts, and went about painting each piece as a representation of a pattern of my thinking that lead me toward different paths of behavior, understanding, and interacting with others.
